Portland's Solid Hardwood Frame Studio: Custom Art Framing

At our Portland frame studio, we believe in craftsmanship that stands the test of time. Unlike the big box frame shops, we use only 100% solid hardwoods — maple, walnut, cherry, hickory, and white oak — none of that particleboard core, fake facade, fu-fu-faux stuff you find everywhere else. Every custom solid wood frame is built right here in Portland, Oregon, with precision mitre joints strengthened by wood splines for superior durability that'll outlast the art inside it.

Looking for custom picture framing in Portland that's actually unique? We customize every solid hardwood frame to whatever your imagination or budget allows. Browse our gallery of handcrafted frame styles to get inspired, or send us a photo of your artwork and Mathew will build something that does it justice.

For artists looking to cut costs, we also offer partially completed custom hardwood frames. We handle the precision woodworking, you take on the finishing — applying wood finish, fitting plexi, adding backing, and hanging hardware. Museum-quality solid wood framing at an accessible price, starting at $50.
